Our Westlake Village clients loved the timeless appeal of Craftsman design but felt their kitchen and guest bath were defined by dated, early-2000s finishes. Our challenge was to marry a clean, contemporary aesthetic with the inherent warmth and character of the Craftsman style. The kitchen was reimagined to enhance flow and maximize counterspace and storage; heavy cabinetry gave way to an airy hub where custom floor-to-ceiling cabinets in a heritage cream are anchored by a large statement island that improves the room’s workflow. The bathroom was transformed into a serene retreat, featuring a rich wood vanity and a striking walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tile. The result is a home that now feels cohesive and current – a thoughtful blend of modern function and enduring Craftsman comfort.
