This home had great bones, but it lacked the feeling of a cozy, personal sanctuary. Our clients wanted to trade the dark, heavy interiors for a space that felt like a breath of fresh air – bright and warm with a touch of farmhouse charm. Our design focused on building layers of comfort and character. We began by washing the home in light-reflecting whites, then introduced a cohesive color story of muted blues and greens through custom built-ins and curated decor. To create a unique, collected-over-time feel, we blended refined and rustic elements. In the guest bath, honed marble meets artisanal zellige tile, while the laundry room floor features timeless brick. This intentional mix of materials adds texture, warmth, and a sense of history to a brand-new design. Today, this house is a warm, welcoming retreat that they are proud to call home
